1. Acceptance of terms
By purchasing or using CleanByte's IP detection API, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service description
CleanByte provides a real-time IP and proxy detection API. Access is granted via prepaid API credits. Each credit includes 10 IP lookups. The API classifies IP addresses as proxies, VPNs, Tor exit nodes, datacenter traffic, or clean residential traffic.
3. API key delivery
After payment, create an account at cleanbyte.co/login using the same email address from checkout to access your API key and credit balance. Credits are activated immediately. It is your responsibility to safeguard your API key.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Resell, redistribute, or share your API key with third parties
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the detection algorithms
- Use the service for any illegal activity under UK or international law
- Deliberately overload the API with excessive requests beyond fair usage
5. Intellectual property
All content, branding, detection algorithms, and API infrastructure are the property of CleanByte. Your purchase grants a limited, non-transferable licence to use the API while you have remaining credits.
6. Refunds
Because credits are delivered digitally and activated immediately, we generally cannot offer refunds once credits have been issued. If you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the service, contact support and we will work to resolve the problem.
7. Limitation of liability
CleanByte provides the API on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee 100% detection accuracy. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.
8. Modifications
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the website.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
